You can never forget that dancers are athletes as much as artists. Our body is our instrument and in our classes we can shape our bodies whilst sculpting our muscles.

If you really push your body and work hard in your ballet exercises, you can see your body lengthen and get stronger. It takes a lot of time and patience.

To help you along the way, make sure you read my precious information on the dancer's body here -

http://balletdancersguide.com/ballet-exercises

Every single exercise in your ballet class will really help you progress as a dancer. From plies to jumps, to tendus to adage, each one is gradually educating your body and teaching it the correct way of moving.

So, remember, give every exercise full value and commit to each movement you make!

Live in the moment of your dancing!

Best wishes,

Odette

P.S - The quote of the day is: “You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment."
