Ballet Dancers - Money For Dance Lessons?

Hi i'm wondering how i can get money for lessons. I've already found a place i want to take lessons but my family is unsupported about my love of ballet so they said that if i want to take dance lessons i have to pay for myself. i cant find a job. what should i do?

I am sorry to hear you are finding it hard to find the money for dance lessons, I understand how you feel as money didn't come easily to me either when I was a training student.

If you are unable to find a job, I suggest you try and talk to your family again about your desire to take lessons. Talk to any Aunties, Uncles or friends too as they may be able to help.

Try negotiating with the place you have found to see if they offer any scholarships or bursary to help pay the funds.
