Hello Kirra,

Thank you for contacting me it is a pleasure to hear from you.

It is not too late at your age to join a ballet club as a hobby, there are many dancers of all ages that enjoy dance for the fun and exercise.

The exercises you do during class will benefit your co-ordination, posture, flexibility and your general health and well-being.

Ballet movements all begin in the core. Core strength is essential for every ballet dancer. The core strength comes from your abdominal muscles and it's important because it helps with your general strength, balance and stability as a dancer.

You are still at a enough young age for your muscles to be flexible and able to train in the technique of ballet. So take advantage of your youth and join a ballet club.

Best wishes,

Odette
