Team Talk Odette! #164 - Is a Ballet for Everyone?
May 26, 2014
Hello

Many ballet dancer's start ballet at an early age and take time off, but soon realise their passion for ballet again. I started ballet as a fun hobby at 4 years old, then quit and started properly again at aged 8.

Ballet is for anyone at any age and it's incredible how much more accessible the classes are for everyone.

However, ballet as a career is not always for everyone. If you are aspiring to become a professional, your training is the priority to focus on first.

You can see my career development plan here -

There are 7 other key factors, which you can see clearly here (you don't have to buy my eBook to see the Virtues explained!) -

If ballet is a career you want to pursue, you first need to reflect on whether you have the ability and what it takes to become a dancer.

Best wishes,

Odette
