Team Talk Odette! #171 - Is It Too Late for You?
July 14, 2014
Hello

I always do my best to read your questions you ask through my site, I'm not able to answer ALL of them, but I still appreciate every single one.

That's why I try to give you my top tips here each week to make you an even better dancer. Still, the most common questions I read are: is it too late? How can I become a professional?

Well, I want to say to all of you who are having these thoughts that it's not always just your talents that can help you reach the top.

I'd say it's true that ballet chooses you, because not every dancer has the opportunity for elite training or the support to make it.

If you are striving to become a dancer, then do what you can now to take that one step closer. Are there summer schools, auditions, classes you can put yourself in for?

Research, research, research! Nothing will happen unless you make it.

Also, don't forget my eBook "7 Virtues of a Professional Ballet Dancer" which is waiting for you to read here -

Best wishes,

Odette

P.S - The quote of the day is: "A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes."
