Team Talk Odette! #175 - Strengthen Your Core

Each dancer likes to warm up differently before class, whether it's stretching, strengthening or getting your body going with some cardio.

Ballet dancer's are always looking for ways to strengthen their body and reach their maximum potential.

One of the best exercises to strengthen your core is the plank. It may look easy but it's most certainly not!

If you're not sure it is, just type into Google 'the plank' and you'll get pages of information as well as pictures to show you the exact position.

Can you give the plank a go to strengthen your core? I recommend holding the position for 1 minute and repeat 3 times in a row. It's a tough one!
