As dancers, we have to be able to execute all these challenging steps yet still make them look effortless with an expression of ease.

Getting through any performance or even a whole ballet class takes a lot of stamina. You have to be able to let your energy last for all sections of a class including the barre, center practice, adages and allegro.

Aerobic exercise such as swimming, running or even exercise videos are a great ways to raise your blood pressure and build your stamina.

Building up your stamina will greatly help you improve as a dancer. You will feel less tired and therefore more able to accomplish the challenging the exercises.
