Successful ballet dancers all need strength. We can not be without stability in our ankles for pointe work, we need strong upper body for partnering, and a sturdy core for balance.

Yet how do we achieve all this great strength?

Nothing comes in a miracle, we all have to work for want we want.

Dancers rely on certain exercises to improve strength. Physical therapy equipment is ideal for targeting specific areas you need to work on.

Thera-bands, also known as a Latex resistance exercise band, are extremely popular with ballet dancers for strengthening all different parts of the body.

Take a look at my physical therapy equipment page which will give you some great exercises to strengthen that body.
