Hi Monique,
Thanks for your message it's great to hear from you. Firstly, you are already in the process of making your dream into a reality! It's very impressive to be accepted into Joffrey's summer camp and this is a great step for you. You must use this chance to develop yourself as a dancer and work your absolute harest in every single class.

Listen to the teachers, don't be afraid to speak up and show how interested you really are. You can even pluck up the courage to talk to the teachers personally and ask them questions about how you can continue to progress and reach into a ballet company.

What's important now is these last few years of training before you aim join a ballet company, which is usually around 18 or 19 years old. You want to be accepted in a serious place of training so they can help provide what you want to achieve.

Also make sure you keep reading through my website, because each page holds advice on how you can turn your dream into a reality. Especially look at the career development plan section, which will help you out hugely.

Best wishes,
Odette
